It's a Great Day to Be Alive!

I haven't "blogged" in over 10 months ... it's time to start doing this at least once a week.

Here is my summary of Psalm 37 - I think that this Psalm describes how we can have a Great Day!

Do not worry
Trust in the Lord
Take delight in Him
Commit everything to Him
Be still in His presence
Do not worry
Stop being angry
Do not envy
Turn from evil and do good
Travel steadily along His path

Psalm 37: 23-24 (New Living Translation)

"The steps of the godly are directed by the Lord, He delights in every detail of their lives.
Though they stumble they will not fall for the Lord holds them by His hand."

I like to turn Scriptures that really speak to me into prayers:
"Dear Heavenly Father ... Papa ... Abba Father
Direct my steps today in such a way that I will be considered a godly woman and that you will find delight in every detail of my life. When I start to fall - please catch me so that I will not fall. Walk with me today - hold my hand."

I like to turn Scriptures into positive affirmations:
"My steps today are godly and directed by the Lord.
He delights in every detail of my life.
I may stumble, but I will not fall because the Lord hold me by the hand."

I am loving Facebook right now! I have reconnected with over 90 friends and family members over the last two weeks. I have been in "isolation mode" for too long. Facebook is helping me to see how much I MISS those friends and family members.
